Sri Math Seva Trust works with mentally challenged, orphaned children, and the elderly community in Sindhanur, Karnataka, providing support and care to each group.
About Us
Shree Matha Seva Trust
Our work is very important as we want to help the society especially those who are orphaned and who are suffering from mental disorders.
Founded on November 9, 2019, in Haretanur village of Sindhanur taluk, Sri Math Seva Trust was established by seven like-minded individuals with the aim of addressing educational, religious, and social needs within the community. With a singular focus, they collaborated with the government, utilizing its policies to organize numerous public and religious initiatives for societal welfare. The government's contribution of fifty thousand rupees was effectively utilized by the trust for the betterment of the community. Serving as the administrative hub, Haretanur village in Sindhanur taluk oversees all activities conducted by Sri Math Seva Trust.

Our mission is to collaborate with the government and local communities to organize impactful public and religious initiatives, leveraging resources efficiently to address the diverse needs of the community, particularly focusing on education, spirituality, and social welfare.
Our Programs
Medical facilities
Providing medical support on a regular basis to the members of the old age home. At present there are 60 members in the organizations old age home.
Awareness campaign
We conduct awareness programs on a continuous basis for the villagers of our district regarding various topics such as health, nutrition etc. At present there are 11 volunteers who do these program's on a regular basis .
Anand Hairstyle serving continuously in Karunya Ashram
Simhadri Balu Raju of Anand Hairstyle in Hosalli camp of Sindhanur is constantly cutting and shaving the elderly beings in Karunya Ashram and showing humanity.
Health Camp @ Old age home
Sri Basava Nursing College Alvandi conducted "free health checkup camp and medicine" to the demented. at Karunya Nele Vruddashram and Adult Dementia Ashram in the city of Sindhanur .

"ಹೆತ್ತವರ ಹಿರಿಮೆ" (Hetthavara Hirime) Program
On April 19, 2024, our NGO organized the "ಹೆತ್ತವರ ಹಿರಿಮೆ" (Hetthavara Hirime) program at our old age home in Sindhunur. We celebrated the dignity and achievements of the elderly residents, honoring their lifelong contributions to society. It was a heartwarming event filled with gratitude, respect, and camaraderie.16-Apr-2024
Cloth Distribution Program
On April 16, 2024, a clothing distribution program was organized at Karunya Old Age Home in Sindhnur. The Vyakaranaala family visited and generously provided new garments to the elderly residents.14-Apr-2024
Walker Sticks Distribution to Elders
The Nahar family from Sindhanur gave Walker Walking Sticks to old folks at our home on April 14, 2024. They wanted to help them move better and feel supported. The elders were really happy and thankful for such a useful gift.12-Apr-2024
Generous Donation: Bringing Hope through Selflessness
On April 12, 2024, an elderly orphan residing at the ashram generously donated her body and eyes to Raichur Medical College. This selfless act was intended to contribute to medical research and offer vision to those in need. The gesture was greatly appreciated and is expected to positively impact numerous lives in the future.18-Dec-2023
Senior Citizen Service Awareness Campaign by Karunya Ashram at Gunjalli High School
In this program Dr. Channabasavaswamy Hiremath, the administrative officers of the ashram, spoke about our Indian cultural tradition respecting elders. All of us can become good citizens of India only when we respect our parents, teachers and elders in our student life. Today we are all rejecting our parents in western culture. Karunya Ashram gave shelter to a needy demented person
The villagers had informed Karunya Nele Vriddashram and Adult Demented Ashram of Sindhanur about an unnamed demented person who had come to Mattur village of Muski Taluk, Raichur. The staff of Karunya Ashram immediately went into action and went to Mattur village of Maski taluk and rescued her with the cooperation of the villagers and sheltered her in the ashram10-Dec-2023
